Tom Sellers has been an award-winning artist, illustrator,
graphic designer and interior designer for the better part of 35
years. He attended the Chanard Art School for fine art in the early
60s, then the prestigious Art Center in Pasadena, California
where he excelled in design and illustration. Tom spent most of
his professional career as a commercial artist and creative director
of his own successful advertising and design firm in Honolulu, Hawaii.
His legacy as a renowned and respected artist is exhibited by his
immense body of highly collected work ranging from sculpture to
block prints and watercolors to oils on canvas.
After 30 successful years in the Hawaiian
Islands, Tom has recently set aside his many other artistic talents
to focus exclusively on his true love of fine art. His plein-air
painting prowess and exquisite sense of light and composition have
allowed him to capture the emotion and uniqueness of such memorable
destinations as the South of France, Central Mexico, Napa and Sonoma
wine country, Central and Northern Coastal California, Santa Fe and
Taos, and most recently New Orleans.
When not in the field, Tom can now be
found painting in his newly built lakefront studio located in pristine
northern Idaho.
